Cookies.

This website does not set cookies. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking cookies, which is the same thing the privacy policy says and the same thing the code does.

The one exception is the booking calendar on the Book page, which belongs to Calendly. That is covered below.

No cookies. We set none, for any purpose, and there is no account to create, no login, and no form on this site that posts to us.

There is one entry in local storage, and only once you have answered the question on the cookie settings page. It is called stomeji.embed-consent, it holds a single word, and its only job is to remember whether you agreed to load the booking calendar so we do not ask again on the next page. Clearing your browser storage removes it and you will be asked once more.

Nothing in session storage. Nothing that profiles you, follows you between sites, or is shared with anyone.

The typefaces are built into the site and served from our own domain rather than fetched from a font service. Loading a page here does not hand your IP address to a third party in order to draw the text.

The calendar on the Book page is an embedded Calendly widget. Calendly is a third party and can set its own cookies on your device under its own policy. We do not control those cookies and we cannot read them.

We do not load it until you say so. You are asked once, in a notice at the bottom of the page, and if you have not answered by the time you reach the Book page it asks again in place of the calendar itself. Until you agree, Calendly's script is never placed on the page, which means Calendly is never contacted and cannot set anything. The notice gates the request itself rather than sitting over something that already ran.

We ask Calendly to hide its own cookie notice inside the frame, which is why the question is asked by us, before the frame exists, instead of by them once it does.

You can change the answer at any time on the cookie settings page, and refusing there stops the calendar loading from then on. You can also skip us entirely and visit Calendly directly, where their terms apply to you without us in between.

What you type into the calendar, your name, email address, phone number, and answers, goes to Calendly and comes back to us as a meeting invitation. That is described in the privacy policy.

Our web host keeps ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. That is not a cookie, and it is not used to build a profile of you or to advertise to you.

The day we add an analytics tool or an advertising pixel, this page changes first and that tool gets its own row on the cookie settings page, switched off until you turn it on. Until then there is one row, because there is one third party.

You will not find toggles for analytics, personalisation, or advertising, and the notice has no third button hiding the refusal behind a preferences screen. Both answers are one click, because there is only one thing to answer.
